We haven't been here for a couple of years. Decided to try again for dinner and this time it was better than the last time. The chicken was moist and fried well. The outside was crispy, not too greasy or soaked up with oil. The fried rice was good. I was pleased with my dinner.
Always delicious! The best wings in town! Wish the kimchi was a bit more spicy or flavorful but the soy garlic wings have me in a choke hold! So crunchy and flavorful! We always get the fries and japchae noodles too! Staff are friendly! We come back and recommend 10/10
My boyfriend and I have been here once before and everything was great this time and last time. The bulgogi fries are soooo good I'm definitely ordering those again when we come back. Our server was so friendly and helped us pick out what to eat because we were indecisive this time.
Great Korean fried chicken spot with plenty of other Korean classics. The Korean fried chicken is always super juicy and crispy, but I did think it could be a little saucier. Love that they come with pickled daikon (or coleslaw) for a quick refreshing bite to balance out all the fried savoriness. Bibimbap was also yummy- had the classic veggies and bulgogi taste, but the Korean street corn was disappointing. Service was good, waitress that I had was friendly and attentive. Casual sit down spot for lunch or dinner.
Bonchon is a well loved Korean chain known for their Korean style fried chicken. I haven't been to this location in years but it was a great experience! We came around 2PM on a Thursday, just in time for their lunch specials. The deals for the specials are pretty good, but I would recommend to order off the regular menu and share the wings with a friend for a better deal. We ordered the 20 pc chicken wings (pickled radish too) with a side of seasoned fries. Unfortunately, the seasoned fries are actually more like sad Parmesan fries. I should've looked at the photos beforehand but I did not realize there was going to be parm on there so it was a 1/5 stars for me. For $7-$8, I would SKIP the seasoned fries and try the regular fries. Ranch and literally any sauce that's not ketchup is also an extra $1 which I felt like is quite steep. The chicken was the star of the show! We got 20 pc of the soy garlic wings. I loved how it was perfectly crispy, sweet and savory. Large wing size too. 4.5/5 stars for me! All the staff and our waitress were super sweet, 5/5 stars! Would recommend to come for delicious Korean chicken and stop by for icecream across the plaza (-:
